AIR FILTER REPLACEMENT
Did You Know??? It takes approximately 10,000 gallons of air for each
gallon of fuel that propels today's cars. The only way for air to enter the
engine is through the air intake after passing through the air filter. If the
air filter is dirty, three things can happen: reduced engine power, decreased
throttle response and increased engine wear. Most manufacturers recommend
a new air filter every 7,500 miles.
Check your owner's manual for your carmaker's recommendations. We carry a
wide selection of air filters to meet the needs of most automobile
manufacturers. If you would like to confirm that we have the right air
filter for your vehicle, please call ahead. If we do not have the filter
on hand, we will do our best to get it.
